I'M CALLING IT A LOST WEEKEND:

I was fine until the early evening when we started watching Christmas movies and James asked me to make a coffee cake. (don't worry,he got in trouble for it later) I have to admit though, by that time, I was craving something myself.

On the up side, I do make a mean coffee cake and like I always say, "if your going to do something wrong, you might as well do it right."

I certainly don't want to get on the scale today (217), and I think I saw my measuring tape run away, screaming something about moving to Australia!

I did walk 2 miles this morning. It was great!

I did great with my eating on Saturday because I used your mantra all day, "Start Today." Sunday was a bust. Although I didn't break into any sweets, I filled up on veggie chips (seriously, like they don't have calories just because they're veggie!) and several helpings of this really good teriaki beef jerkey I bought the other day. I'm going to have to work hard this week to fit exercise into my schedule due to an unusually busy week, but I'm determined to do it! I'll let you know on Friday if I'm down a pound. Thanks for the mantra--it's good when I actually use it! :)

I don't think your weekend was a bust. You had a nice evening with your family eating something you enjoyed. Just don't eat the whole coffee cake. Memories are important too.

I sure hope you caught your measuring tape. You crack me up.

Hey, Judie's on! Yeah.
