There is one mantra that should never make it into our repartee, yet I bet its one you've used at least once, if not more.
"I'll start tomorrow."
To date I've accumulated 20+ years worth of "I'll start tomorrows."
I'll start my diet tomorrow
I'll start exercising tomorrow
I'll stop eating sugar tomorrow
Here's what I've learned, (better late than never). Tomorrow never comes.
Satan knows that if he can get you to hold off on any good thing, just 24 hours, he can get you to put it off indefinitely. Well no more. It stops here. I will start right now.
I am 52 years old this month.
I am 5 ft. 4 inches tall.
I weigh 217 lbs. Thats 90 lbs. too much.
And I will break this cycle today.
Measurements, weight, and food will be logged each day. Hopefully we will see me shrink with each passing hour, but if not, at least I will be developing a healthier lifestyle, satan free.
YOU GO GIRL!

I am officially telling you that you are my inspiration to START NOW! My nutritionist wants me to get off sugar. I'm actually pretty good about it for a few days and then my body decides it's had enough of that and wants its sugar fix and I then try to eat every sweet in the house (fortunately for me we don't stock too many sweets).
Judie: I appreciate the support. You should be able to find all the help you need with the links I have on this site. If you find a site that is particularly helpful, please let me know. My doctor is asking me to do something akin to the south beach diet because of my blood sugar, etc... I looked through the book and its not a realistic lifestyle for me, but I am going to adapt the yeast free diet to meet my lifestyle and still work towards helping me lose weight. High protein is going to be the key for me. Plus exercise. I am happy for the companionship in this effort. Thanks.
